Lantern

Families facing a cancer diagnosis have to read clinical trial listings written for investigators.

I built two front ends on one idea: a Next.js web app that searches ClinicalTrials.gov and PubMed and rewrites each result at a sixth-grade reading level with a 1-to-5 evidence-weight score, and a native SwiftUI iOS app that does the same on-device with Apple’s models. The iOS app is built and not yet released.

Lantern never says whether anyone qualifies for a trial. Only a care team decides that. For iOS I also wrote the privacy policy, accessibility page and an App Store compliance audit.
